Dr. Keerthi Velugotla
Dermatologist
Dr. Keerthi Velugotla, did post-graduation diploma from prestigious Andhra medical college (King George hospital), Visakhapatnam which is a tertiary care hospital with vast number of outpatients and admissions in 2014. Post which she has worked as senior resident at university medical college (Siddhartha medical college), Vijayawada. She has thorough expertise in diagnosing and treating various dermatological and venereological diseases. During her post-graduation days, she has received rigorous training in diagnosing and treating cases of dermatology, venereology and leprosy under the guidance of eminent professors. She has worked as an associate to Dr. Mukta Sachdev, at MS Skin centre, Bangalore in 2015. She worked as a visiting consultant in leading multi-speciality hopitals like Femiint health hospital (now motherhood hospital), Bangalore.
Dr. Keerthi has thorough expertise in performing dermatosurgical procedures (like obtaining punch/excision biopsies, electrocautery, mole excision, micro needling techniques, extirpation, subscission), aesthetic procedures (such as chemical peels, hydra microdermabrasion), anti hairloss treatments (PRP, PRF injections, mesotherapy). She has adept knowledge on use of lasers and their use in addressing issues such as unwanted hair, pigmentation, acne scars. She is certified as specialist injector in performing botulinum toxin and dermal filler injections by Aesthetics and skin institute, Australia.
She has co-authored articles and chapters in national and international journals and textbooks. Dr Keerthi is a life member of Indian Association of Dermatologists Venereologists & Leprologists. Clinical dermatology, Scar reduction & anti- hairloss treatment are her special areas of interest.
