The Eyebrow Microblading technique uses a hand held microblade tool with microneedles that deposit the pigment in superficial layers of skin . The strokes created with the help of these microneedles mimic the natural hair of eyebrows.
Eyebrow Microblading is different from tattooing, as pigment is not deposited into the deeper layers of the skin. The color starts fading in 16-18 months. This time can be up to 4 years as well which depends on the type of skin too.
Skincare after Microblading
- Taking care of that skin area where Microblading took place is similar to tattoo care if a bit more intensive.
- The pigment immediately after the procedure will appear quite dark, and the bottom skin will be red.
- About two hours of Microblading, you should run a wet cotton swab that has been dipped in sterilized water over the area. This will remove any excess dye that’s on your brows & it will also keep the area aseptic.
- It will take anywhere from 7-14 days for the skin to begin to appear healed and for the pigment to fade to its regular shade.
